Students will be able to identify the exposition and rising action of The Outsiders. Students will better understand plot and how it is applied to The Outsiders via a plot-graphing chart. Objectives: Students will take their previous knowledge of elements of fiction and apply the terms more deeply to The Outsiders. They will use this example in the following class session as we discuss plot in greater detail.
