Task: Uninstall MAGIX Content and Soundpools Info: This top uninstall tool@ allows U to get the job done efficiently.
Hi all, First of all, sorry to her about the problems you're apparently experiencing. Please be assured that we are looking into this. However, in order to do so, we will need more information and would encourage you to get in touch directly with our tech support team. There is no serial number for the Steam version, but you will be able to register your product via the appropriate option in the 'Help' menu of the program.
Once registered, you can raise a support ticket through your MAGIX user account on our support website. You will be able to pick the Steam product from your list of registered products.
If you're having problems with that, please log out completely from the support website and log back in again, or simply raise a ticket via the 'sales' branch of the contact facility. The tickets will be assigned to the correct department in the end.

The Problem we have, especially with the Premiumversion is that the packages are either nonexistant or named wrong or in the wrong path. I have 8 Packages which can not be installed due to their predefined nonexistance. Also they seem all in all to be named wrongly '.ms' instead of.msi Can we have a list of those 8 files, so we can search for them? Edit: We just checked, no one I know that bought this too has the folder './common/MAGIX/common/MxSynth' Nonexistant on Win7,Win8 and one Vista System. We are working on a fix, it seems that when the software went live, then the STEAM Admins have not set the VITA components to published status, so STEAM is not downloading them. Unfortunately, in our Development version all the flags for the VITA components were set to published, so we would never see this error.
Once the VITA status has been corrected, then you should be able to repair the install by right clicking on the program name and going to properties. Then selecting Check File Integrity option, the additional files should then download. Sorry for the inconvienience.

Hey there I recently stumbled upon the newest (idk if I'm allowed to link it, pls tell me if not) and it includes some iterations of the Magix Music Maker with effects, VSTs and soundpools. I heard various bad things about the software and naturally I don't plan to switch from Ableton anyway but I was thinking that maybe it was possible to utilize the assets in Ableton without bothering with the DAW itself.
Has anyone tried that? Are they seperate installs or like hardcoded to the DAW? Are they even worth it? I don't see why this wouldn't work, but I could be wrong.
I've set my FL Studio VST plugins as a custom plugin folder in ableton before and they worked. So the same could possibly work with Magix's too. However, this is assuming that there isn't some kind of DRM requiring Magix to be the host DAW.
The way you could attempt this would be to download and install the software, look in the install directory for the subfolder containing it's VST plugins, and then set that as your custom plugin folder in ableton. I would start up Magix first though after installing it just for good measure though (in case some type of license validation through the DAW is required before the plugin can be opened at all).
